THE LOUD is in the grand final of VCT Americas. This Saturday (5), the Brazilian team beat NRG 3-2 in a best-of-five series and, in addition to qualifying for the final, they secured their seeding for the Shanghai Champions.

From now on, LOUD returns to the server this Sunday (6), at 2 p.m.facing 100 thieves in a best-of-five series for the VCT Americas title. The North American team made the decision after beating NRG 2-0 in the previous phase.
For LOUD, the international ranking also puts an end to a period of absence: according to Luque, this will be the organization’s first participation in the Champions League in three years.
LOUD keeps calm to close the series on five maps
The showdown against NRG reached the fifth map and emotional control was one of the main themes after the match. Erde said the team managed to do a mental reset before the deciding map and go in more calmly to seek victory.
On the other hand, NRG recognized its opponent’s ability to adapt. Bonkar particularly highlighted the evolution of LOUD’s performance at Lotus when it comes to inter-team training.
“Last time we played against them, we finished them. This time, they finished us,” Bonkar said.
Despite the elimination, NRG’s season is not over yet. The team is already qualified for the Shanghai Champions and Ethan said that the result in São Paulo does not represent a crisis similar to other difficult times experienced by the team. For him, it was just “a few bad days.”
LOUD returns to the Champions
In addition to the place in the final, the victory confirmed LOUD among the representatives of the Americas in the next Champions League. Romanilli, the only Argentinian qualified for the tournament, underlined the personal weight of this achievement and recalled that he keeps a flag of his country in his room in Los Angeles.
“Today I took a very big step. I want more. I want to win tomorrow,” Romanilli said.
Darker also celebrated qualifying as the only Colombian to participate in the Champions League and dedicated the achievement to Davis, a now deceased former player.
“A champion is not born a champion, he is made,” he said.
For Tecazinho, who is playing his first season on the Tier 1 stages, this campaign also represents an unprecedented experience. The player called the moment “incredible” and highlighted both the chemistry between his teammates and the support received in São Paulo.
The strength of the fans was once again brought up by Luxo. When asked how much of the team’s energy came from the players themselves and how much came from the stands, he summed up: “50/50 us and the fans.”
